THE Qualcomm officially launched its new processor, the Snapdragon 782G (SM7325-AF). The chipset arrives as a slightly improved version of the 778G Morepromising gains of up to 10% thanks to to CPU and GPU with slightly higher speeds.
The version brings a construction very similar to that of the 778G More (which equips, in Brazil, the Motorola Edge 30): with 8 cores at 6nm, the CPU features a 1+3+4 core configuration, with 1 high-performance Cortex-A78 running at up to 2.7 GHz, 3 Cortex-A78 running at up to 2.2 GHz and 4 Cortex – A55 high efficiency at 1.9 GHz. The GPU is an Adreno 642L, the same present in the previous generation.
Like the previous generation, the new Snapdragon 782G It also supports charging Quick Charge 4 Plusallowing air50% battery charge in just 15 minutes🇧🇷 AI processing is also present, as well as the image signal processor (ISP) capable of supporting sensors up to 200 MP.
In terms of connectivity, the launch of The company brings the Snapdragon X53 modem, compatible with 5G Sub-6 GHz and mmWave networks with download speeds of up to 3.7 Gbps. The FastConnect 6700 system also supports Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6E, with transfer rates of up to 2.9 Gbps. The chip also includes Qualcomm Spectra ISP with triple 14-bit support and the ability to process up to 2 gigapixels per second.
Finally, the SoC, which is manufactured in a 6nm production process, supports displays with a resolution of up to FullHD+ 144Hz or 4K 60Hz, LPDDR5 RAM memories up to 3.2GHz and cameras up to 200 MP (or triple triple camera with ZSL up to 22MP or single with ZSL up to 64MP), with video recording up to 240fps at 720p.
So far the Qualcomm did not say which cell phone will launch the chip 782G🇧🇷 However, it is assumed that the Honor 80an intermediary whose launch is scheduled for this Wednesday (23), will be the first device to launch on this platform, therefore having to be the device to launch the component.
