Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Om Shanti Om Theme Cake Is Surely a Masterpiece; Pics

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone with Om Shanti Om wrapped up 15 years early this month, but it seems fans are still celebrating the iconic film. Directed by Farah Khan, the film recently received a nice tribute at Cake International Birmingham – the world’s biggest cake competition and images of the same are going viral on social media.

One of Shah Rukh Khan’s fan clubs took to Twitter and shared a series of photos of SRK and Deepika’s Om Shanti Om themed cake. It may look like the life-size wax statue of the actors, but it’s not. It’s more like a cake. It was directed by a woman, Tina Scott Parashar, who reportedly took almost a month to create this masterpiece.

Sharing the photos, the fan club wrote, “Stars of #Pathaan – #ShahRukhKhan and #DeepikaPadukone’s cake of #OmShantiOm is the main display at Cake International Birmingham – The World’s Largest Cake Competition. The cake is made by Tina Scott Parashar who finished making this special cake in a month. #CantWaitForPathaan (sic).”

Released in 2007, Om Shanti Om was directed by Farah Khan. Apart from SRK and Deepika, he also starred Arjun Rampal, Shreyas Talpade and Kirron Kher in key roles. The movie revolved around a junior movie performer (played by SRK) who got punched by a famed actress named Shantipriya (tried by Deepika) but was killed while trying to save her favorite actress. However, he takes a rebirth to punish the murderers.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone will soon be seen together in Pathaan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film also stars John Abraham in a key role. It will hit theaters on January 25.
