Suniel Shetty says younger actors have alienated audience with sushi, Maldives pics: ‘Unko lagta hai yeh hain kaun’


Actor Suniel Shetty has explained why some might think the latest generation of superstars belonged in the 90s and there was no one to carry them forward. He named Ranbir Kapoor, Tiger Shroff and Ranveer Singh as those of the new generation who can be called the “true blue superstars”. Suniel Shetty recently appeared in the gangster series, Dharavi Bank. Directed by Samit Kakkad, it also has Vivek Oberoi. It was released on MX Player. While promoting the series, Suniel spoke candidly about claims that superstars are slowly disappearing in Bollywood.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Suniel agreed with the statement and said, “Yes, because they (the actors) are everywhere. Airport se nikalte huye dikh rahe hai, gym se nikalte huye dikh rahe hai, restaurant me dikh rahe hai, kisike party mein dikh rahe hai, kutte ko walke pe le ke jate huye dikh rahe hain (You can spot actors everywhere these days ). When you start staring at something too much, you get tired. This is exactly what is happening I think. We celebrate things that others in the world cannot afford.
