DJI, one of the well-known and respected drone manufacturers, has just launched the new DJI O3 Air Unit, its new combined first-person video capture and transmission system for racing drone pilots.
From this system are aspects like that 2T2R omnidirectional antennas, which can transmit H.265 1080p/100fps videos stably and smoothly with a range of up to 10 kilometers with a maximum rate of 50 Mb/s.

It also has one automatic frequency selection system together with anti-interference technologies that allow to detect when a given signal is saturated that prevents its use without problems.
He in turn The camera module features a 1/1.7-inch sensor capable of recording video up to 4K at 60 fps with a maximum field of view of 155ºas long as they opt for an aspect ratio of 4:3 and the video quality is reduced to 2.7K resolution at 50/60 fps or 1080p at 50 fps/60 fps.
D-Cinelike, the proprietary color profile, is used for video recordingaccording to which it “provides more creative freedom when it comes to color grading,” giving users “more flexibility when editing and adjusting their videos.”
A set of DJI Avata neutral density filters made of high-quality materials can also be mounted on the camera module. This model also houses an internal storage capacity of 20 GB.
This new acquisition and transmission device, the as of today it is on sale at the price of 249 eurosis compatible with several of the company’s devices, including the DJI Goggles 2 Wireless Helm, the DJI FPV Goggles V2, and the DJI FPV Remote Controller 2, which are sold separately.
Starting today, users can update their current FPV drones with this new acquisition and transmission system without having to replace the entire device and benefit from the advantages that this system offers compared to previous versions.
